ITEM IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Made in Thailand, should of been my first clue. It wasn't built to ul specs, many problems with it. That loud noise is the microwaves going everywhere but the inner chamber to heat the food, that and a burning smell, surprised I didn't burn down the kitchen. Never tripped the breaker, but had a nice headache. DO NOT BUY THIS..
